Sour to the People
Let us take a trip down sour-lane and go through some of the beers we most definitely get inspired by! Wild yeasts, lactic acid bacteria, citrus and tartness.
Due to a great amount of attention on this deal, we simply sold out on “Brekeriet – Doble“, it has been swapped with “Prairie Artisan Ales – Ape Snake“.

Oude Geuze Boon Black Label
This gueze has a clear golden body with lively carbonation, balanced sourness and flavours of green apple and grapefruit. It is finished off with a long bone-dry aftertaste. The Lambics used for this blend have aged for 1-, 2- and 3 years on oak casks. Brewed in Lembeek, the village that gave Lambic its name.
.. Oh, and it won the Gold medal world beer cup 2016!
Jolly Pumpkin – Weizen Bam
A true sour-master! One of the farmhouse-style beers we cherish and seek inspiration from. The beer is a blend of traditional German style hefeweizen yeast added local and sour cultures. Most definitely a first mover on the sour-beer-wave!
Crooked Stave (Raspberry Originals & Mama Bear’s Sour Cherry Pie)
Both beers are burgundy, red, brown in colour. Still we are in the lane of barrel aged beers whereto one is added raspberries and another Colorado Montmorency cherries. From here we find delicate notes that we often are trying to implement in some of our own brews.
Alefarm Brewing – Funk Orchard
Another danish brewery who is focusing mainly on farmhouse ales and funky sours. This beer is brewed with saison yeast, brettanomyces and their own house bacteria culture. To add fresh and bright aromas, the beer has been dry hopped with american hops. Brightness, acidity, tropical fruits and barnyard funk naturally carbonated in the bottle! Boom..
Prairie Artisan Ales – Ape Snake
From the states, a dark, dry hopped farmhouse ale. They have taken their dark farmhouse base and dry hopped it with Falconer’s Flight and Centennial hops. The combination of yeast and hops create an explosion of flavours, and this beer will continue to develop as it ages.
To Øl – Surt til
To encapsulate some of the tools given by the great belgian brewers, we have made a sour mashed belgian sour table beer. Inspired by the mixed pickles often provided at a christmas feast in Denmark, we created a golden light sour and lactic beer with notes of malts and citrus that has a mild funky tart finish.
